Hi I have a dell optiplex 745 mini with windows xp installed. The problem i am having is this.... i got a blue screen a while back and was having problems with my pc so i decided to just reinstall xp and start over to see if that would fix the problem. Well i made sure in my bios that i set my cd/dvd rw drive to boot first. I did that and was going through the set up fine until i got to the part where i select drive to install xp on. After i press enter to set up xp it shows " 76294 mb disk 0 at ld 0 on bus 0 on atapi set up cannot access this disk" I guess Im not going to be able to reinstall anything on this pc. Thanks God I had everything backed up. Does anyone have any solutions or ideas. Guess my hard drive is bad.

I think the appropriate disk diagnostic...would be a good move.
