I'm currently running Windows XP SP3 and IE8. I'm using Avast Internet Security as my antivirus, and am running the protection module from MBAM as well, which constantly blocks access to 18.104.22.168. I've run full scans with MBAM, Rogue Remover, CWShredder, Spybot, Avast (boot time scan), Panda Cloud, ESET Online (which turned up several trojans, though I believe these were false positives and their removal did not remedy the issue), and cleaned my temporary files with ccleaner, yet most of those programs turned up nothing at all, and the problem continues. My system also randomly reboots and a message shows up upon login saying that the system has recovered from a serious error, though I am unsure if that is related to the other problem.
I'd appreciate any help I can get on finding and fixing whatever is causing this.
