I have been having this problem for a quite a while now. When I hook up my external monitor to my VGA out port or even with the S-Video out port, my monitor works for a while then it randomly flickers on and off and then eventually it freezes my computer completely. I have tried multiple monitors ranging from 25" to 15" CRT's and it does the exact same thing. I have also tried adjusting the resolution and it still doesn't solve the problem. I have taken it fully apart and made sure the outputs were fully secured and not grounding out and everything else but none of this seems to solve the problem. Please any help is appreciated as Toshiba Phone Support really didn't help me out one single bit.

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P205-S6307
