Every time I open task manager, I see several instances of iexplorer.exe running. When I try to kill them, they just come back a few seconds later. They're eating up my cpu (constantly above 50%). Also, my wave volume keeps getting muted; I turn it up, and a few seconds later it's muted again. Lastly, random pop-ups in IE even though I only use Firefox. I'm running XP Professional SP3. I've tried MalwareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Adaware. I ran those a few days ago but I can still either post the logs from those scans or scan again if requested to do so. I am including my logs from DDS and GMER. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot open the DDS.txt file saved on my desktop. A pop-up saying that it failed to initialize won't let me open it. I've attached it here instead.

Ok....Now I've tried a few other applications, and they all say "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application." I will try to restart my computer and hopefully that will fix this (I hope).

Ok here goes: First, I've been getting the blue screen of death when I start my computer, but most of the time all I do is restart and it boots normally. Second, I've been using SysInternals as a task manager and as long as I suspend iexplorer.exe my computer runs better, not good, just better than before.

Here are the logs...

First, DDS.txt:

When I run MBRCheck, you state that I should "...enter 1 for Windows XP, and then press Enter." Then reboot my computer. But after I enter 1 and then enter, it asks me if I want it to "fix the MBR code" and to type "YES" and the enter to continue. Should I type "YES" or just hit enter? Sorry for the question but I just want to be sure I'm doing this right.

The multiple "iexplorer.exe's" are gone!! (Finally!!!) Computer's running faster now. Thank you so very much. Is there anything I could do to make my computer boot and load faster? It takes over a minute to boot and load windows (possibly more sometimes) before I can do anything. If not, don't worry about it, you've helped me tremendously already. I've posted the logs below.

First MBRCheck:
