Hello Folks,

I am not very PC literate, but thought I would give this a try before I reinstall my OS.

I started getting browser redirects a week ago. Then I picked up "fake" ware Trojans. I ran Spybot and Malwarebytes several times , but the redirect problem keeps recurring. Right now I can't open Internet Explorer , but can open Firefox. I cannot System Restore to an earlier date.I have HijackThis installed if that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated; I am getting concerned about security , so I may not use this laptop/OS much longer if I can't find a reliable fix soon.
