Delete the program file. That happens a lot. I check my program files periodically and delete the files I have already deleted! First check add/remove to make sure it is not there.

O'k tried to delete that file a couple of times and restarted. Noticed after about the third time it was gone and was able to delete music match folder.

Just hope it wasn,t a trojan and slipped some where else.

thanks for the help

O'k same problem. Had a couple of problems this morning and restored to yesterdays restore point. Fixed those problems but music match is back.

Yesterday the problems was " can not delete mmtask.exe Access is denied" and today it tells me that coreDll.dll is the problem and I can not delete the file fromC/Program Files.

Help would be appreciated thanks.

Thank you, did a save mode start and took music match out of C drive. Was then able to remove it from the install/uninstall new programs in control panel. Also able to remove one other program which I thought was gone.

WF

If you have any experience working with the registry, you should remove any files in the registry having to do with music match.
You can go to "major Geeks" web site and download a free regestry cleaner.
It cleans a lot of unused file and those you really want to get rid of.
Bob.
