Hi BC.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I can't decide whether my computer is actually infected or not.

I've looked around on the forum to see if some others have had a similar problem as me, i've found a few, but it doesn't seem like it went to far into them.

Heres my problem:

It started this morning, I turned my computer on like usual, the sound was working for less than a minute, then it suddenly went. I thought my speakers actually broke, then I noticed the Wave Volume was down in the master volume settings, so I turned it back up - Another minute goes past and my volume went. I searched the internet for solutions with no luck. Then I noticed another problem. When I had my wave volume up - I kept hearing adverts - like popups which I couldn't see, using Task Manager I decided to end the process of "iexplorer.exe" the advert would suddenly go back it would sure enough come back after a few minutes.

~Early Symptons~

When I logged on this morning too, Internet Explorer decided to give me the load up screen when you first orginally use it, which I kinda find weird seeing as I've been using Chrome for quite a few months now.

I also noticed as of now, that when I do have volume - I hear page clicking when a website has been entered into IE and you've clicked "Go" - it keeps repeating itself.

I've ran Malwarebytes and AVG + HJT with no avail.

So any help from BC would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matty34.
