System manufacturer and model?

Do you have backups made?

Error messages?

What happens when you try to boot in safe mode?

Hello and welcome to Bleepingcomputer.

Are you seeing a ransom-ware box or something blocking your desktop asking for money or a fee to remove its self?

Is there anyway you can post a picture of what is on your screen or describe it as best as you can?

What I am trying to determine here is if you have a program that has taken over your computer.

Please try to be specific as possible and if needed this thread can be moved to the appropriate section where professionals will assist you in removing what malware/ ransom-ware you may have.

Kind regards.

I am working with a Dell windows XP- I have no back ups made, no error messages. I get the black and white screen
that says start windows normally- safe mode- safe mode with networking ect...When I pick one I get another black and
white screen with multi (0) disk(0) etc, however it never leaves that screen. I tired to take a picture with my cell phone
but the size is to large. I have anti -maware on the computer but I cant get to anything. Please please help.

Thanks
