OS: Win Xp SP3

Symptoms:
multiple iexplore.exe processes running in the background
Random Internet Explorer pop up ads
My wave control is near mute every few seconds.
I hear random clicking sounds in the background (like link clicks)

Ive read a couple of similar posts, and each one had a different fix to it, so im not sure if i should try the fix or wait for a response ...

Thanks In advanced

hello as you all most like have some form of an MBR infection. I would recommend you each go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9,which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.

Let me know if that went well.

Running an mbr fix that is not suited to your PC's conditions can have disasterous effects.
