Hi all
Need a bit of advice on cloning my hard drive.I want to clone my hard drive but not my old version of windows xp pro.I am doing a clean install and was wondering if possible to install everything back in place except the old windows xp O.S.My C hard drive is barely working but it still works good enough to clone, but I do not want to use my old O.S I want to use the Fresh one I had to install on my new seta Hard Drive. I saved all my important files to anotber computer but it's going to be a pain to reinstall all the importand stuff I Had on my old hard drive. Thanks Raner

A clone...is an exact copy/duplicate.

You cannot clone a hard drive...which has an O/S installed on it...minus the O/S. It's all or nothing.
