ndis,sys - win32.protector.gen virus

hi i'm new here. i'm using windows xp sp3 and having a problem removing a virus called win32.protector.gen scanned by NOD32 antivirus and the infected file is ndis.sys located at system32/drivers and system32/dllcache. can someone help on my problems thanks a lot

hello there i'm new here. i'm using a windows xp sp3. what should i do first. i'm afraid of doing some scanning because it might delete some of the computer iles and i dont really know what to do with it. thank you
