I recently just downgraded from Vista to Windows XP. And have been experiencing virus alerts almost everyday.

I do have a anti virus ( Avast)

I do a scan, it is clean ( sometimes) then a hour or so later, there will be a virus!

The strange thing is, I got alerts from:

Visiting youtube, and such things.

Now google chrome doesn't work. I got a virus alert, tried to use Chrome right after that, and I got a "kill page", now it only shows a white page.

So please, would someone help me get to the bottom of this?

Nevermind, sorry.

I ran Malwarebytes, it fixed the issue. I hope.
