Hi all,

I bought a second hand laptop recently and it has Windows 7 Ultimate on it which is a pirate version. Is it possible to turn it into a Genuine home version or will I need to reinstall the whole thing?? I can't really afford to fork out for the ultimate version but also dont want to loose other software that's on the machine.

1st of all, piracy is illegal.

2nd your would have to install the Win & home since your can't work your way backwards. And since you have a pirated version chances are your registering vbs scripts on windows 7 are dead.

Just get rid of the illegal copy and buy a legal copy of windows and go from there. We will not help you use a illegal copy of a operating system or program. Please read the Welcome Guide.
