Hello all.

Well, for the sake of trying to not be another annoying member on here that asks the same questions a million and one times, my apologies in advance.

My computer has been acting up. I'm not sure where to post this, because I'm not savvy enough to know if it's a virus or malware/etc.

When I open my web-browsers, first off, they take quite a while to load, and second off my Google Chrome is infected. When I pull it up it this message pops up.

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022). Click on OK to terminate the application."

I've tried un-installing and re-installing Google Chrome. No success. This same message appears.

Also, with other web browsers I use, it doesn't give me that message, but it redirects me to sites that pop up are not what I originally clicked on.
I have to go back and click the original source site on Google a couple of times for the right page to show up. I know this is more than pop-ups, and I am sure there is a major problem with my computer, but I just don't know what to do.

Any advice would be BEYOND appreciated.

Sincerely,

Lauren
