Lately, I have been getting popups when using firefox. They usually opened themselves as a new firefox window and taking me to random search sites which highlights words I have just typed or searched. They would pop up about every 15-30 minutes. Done a full system scan on Bitdefender 2010 and a full scan on Ad-aware, Spybot S&D and Anti-Malwarebytes, which detected nothing. I tried doing the same in safe mode with no detection either. I noticed by Firefox also seem to take up more memory usage than usual as it logs at around 200,000k to 300,000k within minutes of opening the browser without loading any pages.

Any suggestion of how to get rid of it? Is this a virus or spyware I should be greatly concerned about other than annoyance?
Thank you.
