DirectX issues with games

Trying to just play some simple games and keep getting the DirectX is not turn on or out of date. I have updated as of today and still not luck. Can anyone help with this.

What game are you pertaining to?

Since your OS is windows 7 you have DX11 loaded and your games might need DX9.0C. for it work.
Hardware tech when I was in college.
1st job was a network support for SOHO
2nd job was lappy tech
3rd Job way out of my league but its nice...

Perhaps your video card doesn't support DirectX?
