Hello bleeping computer community. I have finally decided to join after viewing topics here for several months. Ya'll seem very helpful so I thought I could help share my knowledge as well. I'm a 23 year old Network Administrator for an insurance agency in Louisiana. I love my job and most of all love working with computers. I hope I can provide as much help to everyone here as you have provided to me.

Anecdote of a recent encounter with adware:
Just finished reading the guide "How to remove a Trojan, Virus, Worm, or other Malware" and Autoruns helped me solve a problem I've been trying to fix for at least 2 weeks! There was a piece of adware on my computer called 710D137.exe that kept coming back over and over again when I deleted it. After examining my autoruns I found over 300 scheduled tasks for this program LOL! I never would have thought of looking there for a virus. Thankfully it is completely decimated now and I can sleep soundly knowing my computer is safe again
