My neighbor had brought her computer to me three times in the past year and a half and each time I find one or maor protoride worms on it.
I clean it using online scans, HJT, Spysweeper, Spybot, adaware, etc.
It runs well for several months and then she brings it back with a worm again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Do you know what this is?

O4 - Startup: MoonPhase.lnk = C:\Program Files\Moon\moon.exe

Other than that , I do not see anything wrong here.

As for the worms, make sure she has all the updates from microsoft. Also install a firewal, as a lot of worms infect you through open vulnerabilities that a firewall will stop. Last but not least, make sure her AV software is updated and installed to stop the mass-mailing worms that comes as attachments.
