I'm using free hosting from Vistapanel.net for my website.
it's called : computertalk.vistapanel.net if you wanna check it out.

Here's my dilemma: I don't want to use an email address for people to contact me by. Using email is just too hectic for me... I want to put a live chat system on the website, if possible. If that isn't possible, I want to know how to set up a forums on my website....

Yea, not knowing how and having to ask is embarrassing, considering I should know....but honestly, I'm new to web developing, so it isn't my fault that I'm ignorant.

Any help is welcome.

Here is the first question. What capabilities does your hosting service have? And just an observation; I can't imagine that email (that you can answer on your own time) is more hectic that live chat which sort of insinuates that you are immediately available.

At any rate, in order to meet your goals you need to know what your host allows.

I dont like using email....I always forget to check, I tend to forget passwords, I dont like spam (If the email address is posted ANY WHERE on the internet, spammers tend to find it, and use it....) I just dont like it, in general....

If you know a more convenient place to host my website, I have no problem with changing....
I like the idea of a forums (Like whats going on here), I just cant afford the actual domain names and hosting....
I don't like webs.com, theres nothing wrong with it, i just dont like it, so I wish not to use that.

Any more advice?

If you search around the forum here you should see some free forum hosting providers and such. I use smf for free they are ok not the best but they work and free. or even search google.
