For the past week or so I have been experiencing hangs in my internet connection where my ping shoots up to 5-700 and my packet loss between 12-16% at pingtest.com
I've noticed at this time, the activity light on my modem is not blinking but a steady orange. When it was acting normal it would always just blink. This is also in sync with a program called DU meter I downloaded, my "sent" kbps go from the 0.0s to 300.0 - 500.0 kbps when the modem light is hung and I'm lagging.
So far everything we've tried to fix it hasn't worked. There are 3 other computers on the network, 2 laptops and another desktop, none of which are experiencing problems as severe as mine, a little bit of lag every now and then but nothing comparable. We've disconnected the other computers from the network and the problem presist. We've flushed the dns, released the ip, spoofed it, changed the mac address.
Going into my routers webpage and looking at the log, it haves me believing I'm DoS attacking myself?
I just went there today so I don't know what it looked like through the week

This repeats through the whole logs, with different ip's under the lan access remote (what is this?? and why do I get them when I have nothing on that should be accessing the internet - i am connected but no firefox or anything is on), there are probably over a total of 50 dos attacks to myself, not accounting for what was there past today.
The DOS attack is coming from my computers IP.
I've ran various virus and spyware scans and have not come up with so much as a malicious cookie file. I believe I'm being attacked somehow, but I can't figure it out.
