I noticed recently that when burning an audio cd using RealPlayer SP, the burn would stop about halfway through and I'd have a message from Windows saying "RealPlayer has stopped working". I've had MediaMonkey for a while too, so decided to try to use that instead, and got the same error message, this time at 5% of the burn completed - "MediaMonkey has stopped working". In all instances, when I then try to eject the CD from the drive by using the button on the case, I get no response. Trying to right-click and eject leads Windows to stop working when I right-click the E: icon. I have to do a hard restart every time.

Does this sound like a burner issue? It's probably not a software thing if it's happened using two different softwares was my uneducated guess.

I am not familiar with either program, but you could be experiencing buffer over-run issues, which could be resolved by changing the write speed to a lower speed setting.

There are other burn programs out there that are free and work quite well, I will list those below.
