Hey guys im a first time poster, i've used your site for help before... but im not sure how to get rid of this annoying redirect. My experience is limited to 6 months as a tech, and a semester of A+ and Net+ classes. Let me know if you prefer an attached file or the copy and paste. Thankyou in advance for your help.

(I'm running in Sp3 Xp Home 32bit) I was browsing the internet and clicked on a video from google and it was asking me to install a new version of java. Apparently this had a slew of viruses. I first turned off the system restore point and booted into safemode to run super antispyware.. not sure if that even works but i use it out of habit. I then ran SDfix and Smitfraud fix, which helped but didnt completely fix the problem. I downloaded Emnisoft and hijack this, and ran a deep Emnisoft scan, and pasted the log of the hijack this. Re-installing windows insn't a huge deal to me, but id rather not.. and learn how to get rid of specific viruses if possible.

I'm experiencing a bit of slowdown browsing the web and 50% of pages are re-directed. I haven't noticed much else going on.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
