my vista is not performing any new install nor run any pre-installed programs.

please help me.

We need a little more info. Exactly what do you mean when you say, "not performing any new install"?
What happens when you try to start/run a pre-installed program, we need the error message, what program it is, what version of Vista, what SP is installed, how much memeory, hard drive size and how much free space on the Hard drive?
