ok when i run my computer the graphics look like all hell broke loose
main colors are green pink yellow gray and orange
everything is pixelated
this happens with both of my cards

nvidia ge force 6200le 128mb

and
EVGA 8400gs

i updated both the drivers with no effect

i did a system restore just to see and I had normal picture then halfway through login it went to a black screen and reverted back to crazy picture

if I go to device manager and disable the driver it looks almost perfect ( some pixellation and mis color on the gadgets)
but if I try to play a game then i get a direct x failure

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

custom built pc

ECS IC780ma-2 (v2.0) motherboard
AMD phenom tri core processor
video listed up top
4 gb patriot ram
2x dvd drives
1 500gb sata HD
1 80GB IDE HD
windows vista

What is the DirectX error message?

You ran the DirectX troubleshooter?

You uninstalled the video drivers...before reinstalling them?

Try removing all unneeded/unused drivers...and uninstalling all video drivers...then rebooting and reinstalling the video drivers for one card.
