No go...Wireless mouse...

I've just purchased an HP wireless comfort mouse and cannot get my computer to detect the mouse after downloading software...Cannot customize features and am using Windows 7...Blue LED light on top will not illuminate either...HP is no help...Please guide me someone....Thnks, LeRoy

I'd be thinking...batteries.

And...I'd try it on another system.
