I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990 laptop.

Windows 7 Home Premium 34bit
Core2duo Processor
3gb RAM

The last thing I had open was Facebook and then i logged out and shut the screen down and then went away. I came back and there is no sound for anything. What is wrong with my laptop? How can I correct it? Please advise..

Is there a volume slide control on the outside of the case?? You may have moved it moving the Laptop around.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

yes there is a volume control on the outside but on screen it showed the volume turned up to the max but i wasn't receiving anything. i even tried the volume test thing in the control panel but that didn't make a sound either...but anyways it works fine now...its just that i am dreading the day it goes off again and maybe won't turn on at all
