I've been infected by a virus. I first noticed it as it started messing with my internet browsers - making me unable to use chrome, and randomly opening IE. I ran Malwarebyte's and AVG free both of which found trojans and removed them. However, a notepad document titled commonpriv and commonpriv.log.lock remained on my desktop.

I tried system restoring, which didn't work and then totally cut out my internet. I managed to rectify this by turning on in internet options 'obtain DNS server address automatically'. While I have the internet back I am still worried there is a virus on my computer as commonpriv.log.lock is still sitting on my desktop.

Thank you in advance for your help.
