I joined an online gambling site 3 months ago to take advantage of a special offer, when i sent my application an advert came up saying "bet in safety" came up so i clicked on it.
It was some site saying it hides my internet id & if someone hacked my bet account, so i downloaded it, as it was free & my Kaspersky did not flag the site as unsafe.
Well, i now don't use online betting & tried to uninstall the programme using the uninstall programme in vista. When i try to uninstall a box pops up & says [insert programme name here]is running & must be closed to uninstall. The programme is not running, nothing is open.
How can i remove a programme that doesn't want to be removed?

Do you have to do this every time, you restart your computer?
