The Computer only will boot the BIOS

First I Get the mail screen where it begins to read the hardware profiles and begins a memory test then instead of booting the HDD od CD-ROM or even MY Linux Kernel on my external.

It Goes Directly to the BIOS Screen and i have tries to disable all boot devices and reset the bios using the jumpers and by removing the battery.

Computer is custom built with

Gigabyte AGP 8x
AMD Prosessor
80 GB HDD 1G Ram

no other data is available due to system cocnfiguration
contact if more is needed

How did you fix the problem? It's always good to post what resolved an issue because that info may help someone else in the future.
