Hello,

Sometimes, not all of the time, my Google search results are being redirected to other websites.

When I first turn the computer on, open Firefox, then do a Google search, the redirection happens (only on some searches, such as "norton" or "malwarebytes")

When I search the second time, it's all fine.

I have ran full scans with:

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 - didn't find anything
Malwarebytes - didn't find anything
HiJackThis - didnt find anything suspicious
Spybot S&D - just found cookies which it removed but having the same problem.

I reinstalled Firefox but the same thing still occurs.

Thank you.

Do not post a HJT log, especially here in the XP forum.

I am moving your thread to the Am I Infected forum. Please follow the instructions of BC Staff which are given you there. If logs are requested by BC Staff, provide them when requested.

Louis
