Hello Everyone!

I find myself on the Bleeping Computer site enough for help and research that I decided I should go ahead and join.

I'm not quite sure how to rate myself on computer experience - well, I'm techie enough that I named myself. I know enough to get into deep trouble, and I know enough to know there's a ton I don't know. I guess I consider myself quite competent, and I'm flattered when someone calls me a geek. (Which actually does happen on occasion!)

I use my computers for graphic design and photography, in addition to general research, entertainment, shopping, etc.

I have my trusty HP Pav dv5000 laptop, as well as a pretty cool desktop a friend helped me build last summer:

AMD Phenom II X4 945
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
in a kickin' Raidmax Aztec case with black lights, lighted fans, and a disco ball (?!)

Well, that's me. Thanks for all the help you've already been, and for the help I know I will find here whenever I need it.

Hello and  to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
