Hi All,

I'm retired, living in Thailand and thought I used to know a lot about computers...

I recently upgraded my old Dell Latitude lap top to an Acer, without too many problems but I occasionally have a shut-down error which is a bit of a niggling thing rather than a major problem, so I may start a thread on that when/if it happens again.

I hope I can contribute a bit to this forum - I used to run a small network (30-40 PCs) when I was working in the UK, but clearly I relied more on our support company than I realised :flowers: . Now I'm on my own in Phuket, I use the Internet to get what support I need. This forum was mentioned in another forum I belong to, so I thought I'd have a look... and here I am!

Cheers,

RDN.
