I am running XP SP3 and have a virus of some sort that causes any "windows update" string to get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
Windows update does not get through plus just entering "windows update" (without the space) into the google search text box will get a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Also am getting some upwanted add pages.
I have scanned with malwarebytes, norton antivirus 2010 and Ad-aware, but all report no problems.
Any help would be appreciated.
