I'm unable to connect to internet explorer and Norton Anti virus keeps showing a message saying a recent attempt to attach my computer has been blocked.

The alert summary shows:

An intrusion attempt by zz87jhfda88.com was blocked. Application path \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME1\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SVCHOST.EXE

The risk name is: HTTPS Tidserv Request 2
Severity: High

I'm afraid I just do not have a clue how to sort this out and be able to connect to internet explorer again. Can anyone guide me. This is actually my parents computer and I'm in the UK visiting them for only 1 week and would like to sort it out for them before I leave.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Try this:

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
