I purchasd a new extended life battery for my Toshiba Equium A110-233 about 3 months ago. It has been working perfectly until earlier this week when it suddenly wouldn't boot up on battery at all. The DC IN light is glowing organge which means in theory its charging and the Toshiba Power Saver utility says that the battery is 96% charged. However, if I unplug the AC the laptop turns off immeadiately. I've downloaded the manual from Toshiba's site and there is nothing in it that refers to the problem and there is nothing on their forums either which helps. I've updated my BIOS to the latest version just in case that might have helped but it hasn't. If anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful. I'm running Windows XP on the laptop. Thanks.
