Is this the Flash player, or the Shckwave player?
Which version are you trying to install?
Have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling?
Do you receive any error messages, and if so, what is the exact mesage?
Did you restart after installing?
Have you tried these steps? General Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP Troubleshooting
