I think my computer is seriously infected. My boot sector got corrupted. A friend helped me restore the boot sector using the XP Recovery Console. The computer seemed fine for a few hours but then became infected with the AV Security Suite. It may have been infected with AV before the boot sector crash, and I have a feeling there may be other infections on this system. I can get on line but get instantly redirected and then all sorts of windows pop up on my screen and it's very confusing. I can't seem to even open programs without the AV software popping up and stopping me. I am typing this from another computer because I can't navigate on the infected computer because of all the crazy warning boxes that come up. I'm not very computer savvy. I don't know what to do. Thanks for your help.
