Good evening!

Fixing my mom's PC.
Her issue was her PC running painfully slow and sometimes locking up altogether.
(What a coincidence after downloading a "Free" aquarium screen saver)

Win XP SP3
Pentium 4 3.00GHz
RADEON X300 Series Graphics Card

I first ran Spybot S&D in Safe Mode and found/removed a bunch of adware & spyware.
I then upgraded her from 516MB to 1 Gig RAM.
After that, I ran TuneUp Utilities including a full defrag and system scan.
I also ran CCleaner and finished of with ATF Cleaner.

Her PC is flying now with her Verizon Fios (24.18Mb/s Download, 8.91Mb/s Upload).

The only issue is every 20-30 minutes her PC freezes while browsing (Firefox 3.6.4).
(It even froze while I was typing this).

My first instinct was a corrupt or outdated video driver, but her current driver is up to date (as far as I can tell) and I have no problems viewing pictures &videos stored on her PC.

My second thought is possibly Malware that is not being detected by McAfee or Spybot.

Any suggestions?

*I downloaded Hijackthis in case you want to view a log (I still have trouble decoding the log).

Thanks for any help!

Does it happen ONLY, when Firefox is in use?
