My desktop and one o my laptop started showing the AV Security Threat ransomeware. That is how I stumbled upon this group. Seems very helpful. I am not much of a techie, but I have been fmiliar with computing since 1975 with my stack of punch cards on Fortran 4K. However, I am one of those front end user who really never bothered to turn into a comp geek. Right now I am using the MBAM to scan the laptop in safe mode.
It has scanned 78000+ files on the C but has not detected anything! Is that usual? I did have to run the rkill in the safe mode prior to this.
