All of the sudden, Balloon with windows security alert has popped up stating computer infected and started running AV security suite. I stopped it ASAP, but it now has my computer locked up. I can't go anywhere on or off the internet. I downloaded malwarebytes anti-malware from another computer to a flash drive, loaded it on my computer, but it will not run it. computer says "application cannot be executed. the file is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" It is now popping up porn sites and viagra ads!!! Help, what do I do. i have not shut the computer down as i was afraid it would load automatically fully once it was turned back on. I have AVG as well as ad-aware that I run constantly.

For reference, you might take a look at the BC Removal Guide, AV Security Suite.

I will move this post to the Am I Infected forum, as a more appropriate forum.

From this point, please take all suggestions/direction from BC Staff personnel in that forum.
