i hooked up an old keyboard to this computer, but then the computer got infected with a virus of some kind (possibly through the keyboard chip,i don't know (it was a samsung keyboard),oh and i heard a strange sound on my computer too). The reason i connected my old keyboard was cause i accidentally spilled water on my keyboard, and the character "i" would not work. The moment i connected it to my cpu i heard a long series of beeps and characters were being pressed automatically (the character burst would stop when i press a key on my keyboard (for instance the backspace key)).Also whenever i login i see that theres a long string of characters in my login screen under my password field, and i have to delete it,and this time,i was locked out of windows! can someone guide me to some anti-keyboard hook programs (i'm not even sure it's a keyboard hook,it could be something far worse) or some locations i should look in that this prank prog or buffer overflowing program would lurk in? i'd appreciate all the help i can get, thanks!
P.s: Also during the installation of Secure-it 2009 Free Antivirus i got the message that avast is installed (i don't recall installing avast ever on this computer, though i had installed avast back on my old computer, the one i got my old keyboard from.
i should probably mention that i had accidentally spilled drinks on my old computer's keyboard once or twice,so maybe this is just some malfunction or a glitch..

Okay my keyboard works now, I guess it just needed to get dried a bit.The annoying login screen character bursts is gone too.
