Hello to all,I want to use skype,I have a hp dv 9260nr laptop that came with vista ultimate 64 bit. With that os skype had video and incoming sound with occasional outgoing sound. After several installs and installs, sound driver updates, computer and skype configuring skype and hp tech support decided 64 bit was not supported.I have since installed windows 7 pro 32 bit.I have video, incoming sound but NO outgoing sound at all.My built in microphones work fine with sound recorder and speech recognition. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,
What type of device are you using as a microphone? Headset? Softphone? etc. As I'm sure you know this plays a large role in how to configure your options. Also, have you updated your drivers? Are you using the Realtek 97? if so there is a package that you can install (I had to) in order for things to go on working properly.
6305_Vista_Win7_PG537 (you can google it) is an audio (et al) folder of updates I found to get my audio working again. Hope it helps. If you can add some more info (i.e. devices and settings) I might be able to assist you further. Oh yeah, Skype just released an update recently. Did you get it?
Good luck
