I ran windows Vista and my wireless printer is a Brother MFC9840cdw. Now that I have gone to Windows 7 I have had to upgrade my printer software which blew my OCR software away. I know I could have reinstalled it from my original disk but have had no luck finding it. Don't ya just love us knuckle heads who loose our software.

I need the OCR version BRCTRCEN.EXE. I'm not sure how many actual files are in it but it's in a sub directory of the original install disk. I would appreciate it if someone would help me out or tell me where I might download one. I've searched for 3 days and cannot find one.

My settings will allow you to e-mail me.

Thanks, Ben

This should be what you need: Full Driver and Software package for a Brother MFC-9840CDW.
