I have my friends xbox for a little while and i cant get it to connect to live. My computers internet works fine but my modem wont connect the xbox to live. It says it cant obtain ip adress when i run the test automatically. I have tried typing my modems ip adress, subnet mask, and physical adress into the xbox but it still wont connect. How can i fix this.

Mine goes through spells where it won't connect for any good reason. Follow the steps, reset the network settings to Factory defaults, restart the 360 a few times and pray it works. Sorry thats all I know of networking the 360. maybe someone else will know more.
