I was using I/O Bit toolbar until Monday and I liked all the scans & tools.

Yesterday I foolishly downloaded a upgrade for it and needless to say the download
really did a job, almost disabled W7. After restarting my laptop the entire system
went crazy until my security, AVIRA, kicked in and quarantied the Adv Sys Care. I
deleted this ASC from my programs and now everything is perfect

Hi,

... you mean that the toolbar was fake? Why on earth would the company do that? I mean, if it's who I'm thinking of, they have had problems in the past, but that? I don't see it.

Well. You know what seems to be happening over there. If you look at it, China is one of the most proactive malware-distributing countries, so if you put it in perspective, it's not surprising that they are entering the criminal world. Just my opinion, but maybe they are backstabbers and not venders of a reputable security product. Who knows. only time will tell.

If it comes from China don't put in your computer or your body. Good chance that somebody will have a mess to clean up.
