Reading "Understanding Spyware, Browser Hijackers, and Dialers" from this site, I see that CuteFTP is listed as a "backdoor santa". Can someone discuss more of what this means? I've been using CuteFTP and I want to make sure I'm ok.

Also, are there other better FTP programs out there? I don't need anything heavy-duty - just something to upload some files to my website now and again.

I use to use LeechFTP, but it hase't been updated since '99. I now use FTP surf. It's a IE based client. It is free but has banners accross the bottom fourth of the page. It is very quick. I like it and have no problems. Been using it since 12/04. Hope this helps.
