Is there any way I can completely disable windows media player so that you can't click/select/or right click on a file or dvd drive or anything and be able to play it. A way where I could disable and enable it at anytime I want.
The reason is because my nephew watches movies on my computer with it but he would always pause a movie and leave it that way for hours and hours (while I was away at work). Since the disc was spinning and still being read (paused) for hours on end, after about two months my dvd drive burned out and died. I want him to be able to use my computer while I'm gone but he never listens to me and stop/save whatever movie he's watching like I taught him. So I know it's just a matter of time before this new drive gets cooked again.
