This seems to be a very common problem at the moment!
Everytime I do a search using Firefox it redirects me to random sites and I have no idea how to stop it. It brings up blank pages and has also started opening up new tabs. I use AVG which is fully updated, Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes Anti Malware. They found 3 trojans when I ran them but didn't solve the problem. I use Windows XP.
I love using firefox and want to keep using it but this is really annoying me!
Please could someone help me?

I have also run SuperAntiSpyware, which found a few things, and ATF cleaner. They haven't got rid of the problem. I'm going to work through some of the suggestions in other threads where people have the same problem!
The computer has also started running VERY slow. Please can someone let me know if i'm doing the right thing!
