Hello, I have a Windows XP computer and I was attempting to get files off another windows XP computer but it was inffected with a virus so I tried to use a flash drive to get the files off the computer some how the virus messed up my flash drive because it was working before now when I try to acsess my flash drive it says "Please insert a disk into drive F:."

I have tried this flash drive on a bunch of computers and it does the same thing each time, when I choose to format it it gives the same option. It wont show up in Disk management. It wont show up in Partition Magic.

Please help, it did this to 2 new flash drives. I used them before and never had a problem with them.

Let's start with the most important question.
What happened with your infected computer? Still infected?
Did both USB sticks go "dead" after plugging them into that infected computer?

If I'm reading this correctly. You want to down load to a flash drive infected files so you can use them later. WHY. You have not mentioned anything about cleaning out the infections from the computer before trying to use the usb ports.
