I have looked this up in 4 startup databasesand can't find exact name. Hoped you could clarify.
Autortun names it: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\USERINIT.EXE
Winpatrol names it: winlogon usernit

Registry: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit
Startup Location: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Userinit

Command line is: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\USERINIT.EXE

Thanks.

Nooo - I'm not running multiple real time antisoftware I've evolved past that error.

Do not delete that file! C:\Windows\System32\userinit.exe is legitimate and if you delete it your computer will no longer allow you to login.
